Christian Brothers Academy is holding auditions for their spring  
musical, THE BOYFRIEND, that will be performed at the Cohoes Music Hall.

Performance dates at the Cohoes Music Hall: March 13, 14, & 15, 2009

C.B.A. is seeking young ladies for their spring musical auditions for  
THE BOYFRIEND. The auditions will be at C.B.A. on Monday October 27,  
2008 from 6:00pm till 9:00pm. All interested student actresses please  
prepare a standard musical theatre song and be prepared to read from  
the script. If you'd like -  cd's of the musical are available from  
Brother Casimir Gundlack by calling 518-452-9809 ext. 119.

THE BOYFRIEND by Sandy Wilson
The setting is – where else? – the French Riviera. Polly, an English  
heiress attending Mme. Dubonnet's Finishing School, falls in love with  
Tony, a delivery boy. Recalling her father's warning to beware fortune  
seekers, she posses as a working girl, unaware Tony is in fact the  
missing son of the wealthy Lord Brockhurst. Things get complicated  
with the unexpected arrival in Nice of Polly's parents and Lord and  
Lady Brockhurst – but not to worry, a happy ending is in store for all.

student.

DULCIE	Young Lady at Mme. Dubonnet's school.

FAY	Young lady at Mme. Dubonnet's school.

NANCY	Young lady at Mme. Dubonnet's school.

POLLY BROWN	Young Lady at Mme. Dubonnet's school. Clear-voiced romantic

MADAME DUBONNET	The stuffy head-mistress of the school.

HORTENSE	A maid at the school.

LADY BROCKHURST	His stuffy wife. Equally rich and British
