CASTING CALL

   Casting Call:  Thursday October 16 at 8:00 pm
   Rehearsal:  Tuesday October 21 7-8pm  Location TBD
   Production:  Sunday October 26 3-9pm
Where: Firehouse at Corner of Eastern and Wendell Ave, Schenectady NY

'First Day' is about an actors' first big show.  It takes place in
the dressing room on opening night.  Chris is very nervous but gets
support from his fellow actors and friends. 

Characters (number of lines in parenthesis):
CHRIS (8):  [Lead]  Inexperienced Actor, 18-40 years old, eager to do a good  job, but nervous.
COSTUMER (1):  Costumer is professional who just wants Chris to stand still long enough for the finishing touches on the outfit.
FATHER MULHONY (4): Male, Town priest and drunkard, Father Mulhony is friends with Chris.
MIKE (4): Male, Experienced Actor, Bigger than Life outgoing personality.  Friends with Chris.
MOM (5): Middle Aged Female, Chris' mother.  Loves Chris, but doesn't know much about theatre.
PRODUCER (2): No nonsense person, very Type-A personality.  Dresses sharp.  Walks, talks, and thinks like a precision timepiece.
EXTRAS:  MAKEUP (0);GAFFER (0)
If the ethnicity, age, or gender of the character is not mentioned,
then any is acceptable.  There is no-pay for the actors and extras, but
each will receive a copy of the finished film on DVD, and the rights to
use it for an acting reel.
