[Capdist-auditions] Cohoes Music Hall seeking Master Electrician

C-R Productions at Cohoes Music Hall is currently seeking a Master  
Electrician to complete the 2008-2009 Season which will include: THE  
FULL MONTY, DRACULA, and THE PRODUCER'S.

Duties include:

Working with the Technical Director and Production Manager to schedule  
the load in and hang and focus of lighting elements

Assembling or obtaining the required documentation and resources for  
the production from the NYC based Lighting Designer, which may include:
I.     Lighting plot (including section)

II.    Color and template information

III.   Channel hook-up and instrument schedule

Load in:

·      Work with Lighting Designer, Technical Director or crew to  
optimize the time and space available

Hang:

·      Supervise the installation of all lighting equipment, insuring  
that it is installed in a safe manner

Focus

·      Coordinates time and space requirements with other department  
heads

·      Supervises all focus calls with Lighting Designer, ensuring  
that all work is performed in a safe manner

Cue Writing:

·      Attending cue writing sessions

Tech/Dress:

·      Adjusting the focus, hang or placement of lighting elements as  
discussed with Lighting Designer

·      Attend tech rehearsals

·      Attend all notes meetings

Production Run:

·      Work with Technical Director and Production Manager to schedule  
the strike of the show

Strike / Post-Production:

·      Supervise the dismantling of the lighting equipment and  
restoration of the lighting system in a safe manner

·      Responsible for the organization of lighting inventory
