[Capdist-auditions] "Losing Patients" auditions

The Hilltowns Players announce auditions for their fall comedy "Losing Patients".  The plot by a trio of scoundrels becomes  humorously unraveled as a thunderstorm causes inappropriately-timed power-outages, a drug dealer is on the loose, an escaped mental patient lurks in the shadows, and two patients of Silver Crest nursing home (one with amensia and one mysterious long-time resident) become victims of mistaken identity.  The cast calls for adults: 4-5 males and 3-5 females, plus adult and high school-age extras who will be needed to participate in an old-fashioned radio program with some singing required.  Auditions will be held at the Berne Reformed Church hall, Route 443  in Berne, New York, on Monday August 3rd at 8:00pm and on Monday August 17th at 7:00pm.  Read-through and blocking rehearsals will be held August 24 and September 2nd and 9th.  Regular rehearsals will be held Mondays through Wednesdays from 7:00 to 9:30pm beginning September 14th through October 28th, then 7:00 to 10:00pm November 2, 3, and 4; then every evening 7:00 until 11:00 November 9 thru 12, with three performance dates: Friday and Saturday evening November 13 and 14, and a Sunday matinee at 2:00
