RABINE PRODUCTIONS presents the family holiday play, SANTA'S LIST.  A
children's play performed in one-act.  Written and Directed by Brenny
Rabine.  For additional information, call Terry Rabine at 306-4404.

 

AUDITIONS will be held on Monday evening, November 9th and Tuesday evening,
November 10th at the Charles R. Wood Theater, Glen Street, Glens Falls, NY.
Actors should bring a current headshot (or picture) and resume. Actors will
read from scripts provided at the auditions.   Audition sides available via
e-mail.   NON-EQUITY.  ACTORS WILL BE PAID $200 FLAT FEE FOR REHEARSALS AND
PERFORMANCES.

 

REHEARSALS will begin on Monday, November 16th, and run Sundays through
Thursdays, from 7:00-10:00PM. (No rehearsal on Wed., 11/25 or Sun., 11/29.)
Tech/Dress rehearsals Saturday, Sunday, December 12 and 13, 12:00PM to
8:00PM.

 

PERFORMANCES will be Tue., December 15 and Wed., December 16, at 10:00AM;
Actors must be available for matinee performances.  Fri., December 18 at
7:00PM; Sat., December 19 at 4:00PM and 8:00PM; and Sun., December 20 at
2:00PM

 

CAST BREAKDOWN         

SCRATCH    (Male, 17-30) A hardworking but bumbling elf. Very sweet and
insecure                            

at first, he becomes an unlikely hero.  Attractive in a goofy way.

 

NAYA           (Female, 17-30) A good and noble elf. She's very capable and
handy.                        

Adorable. 

 

PIMLY          (Male, 25 or older) A prim elf; intelligent, loyal,
diplomatic. A good guy!

 

YUGGO        (Male, 25-50) An efficient bureaucrat who craves more power.
Think                       

"Scar" from Lion King. The actor playing this role must be somewhat fit and
agile.

 

TOADIE       (Male, age unimportant as long as he looks servile to Yuggo) A
tattler.                     

Yuggo's henchman and spy. Something in him yearns to belong to the good
guys, even as he gets them in trouble. 

 

BITTIBIT      (Female, 8-12) Small. She must seem much smaller than the
others. She                          

never speaks but is extremely capable, intelligent, funny, and helpful. The


special girl playing this role needs to be physically expressive. Dance
training a real plus!!

 

MRS. C.       (Female, 40s-60s) An intelligent, good-natured go-getter.
Texas-born. 

 

SANTA         Hey, he's Santa.   Very good-natured. Wise yet easily
distracted. A confident leader who listens well, rules with kindness, and


loves happily. He even loves the naughty elves.
