Passing this on from Hubbard Hall Executive Director, Benjie White.

Auditions for the Theatre Company at Hubbard Hall's 2009-10 season will be held at Hubbard Hall in Cambridge, NY, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 19.

The afternoon will consist of large group activities (warm-ups, theater games, group improvs) from 1:00-2:30 p.m., followed by specific call backs (from 2:30-5:00 p.m.) by some of the directors of the upcoming season. Please come prepared with a one-minute monologue, a resume and photo.

The 2009-10 season consists of seven plays, including both classics and new works, that will total over 65 performances and continue the TCHH mission to be a mentoring company, mixing seasoned professionals with novices and expecting both to learn from each other.

Thanks to the addition of a second performance space, The Freight Depot, TCHH has been able to double its usual number of annual productions. Scheduled for the Hall are: Henrik Ibsen’s "A Doll’s House," directed by Laura Heidenger; Arthur Miller’s Tony-award winning "All My Sons," directed by Allen McCullough; and a riotous farce by Michael Hollinger, "Incorruptible," directed by Stephanie Moffett-Hynds.  The Freight Depot productions will be: "The Sweet Storm" by Scott Hudson, directed by Dina Janis; "Hadrian VII" by Peter Luke, directed by John Hadden; and "Another Antigone" by A.R. Gurney, directed by Philip Kerr.

Please call (518) 677-2495 to let us know that you will be coming to the auditions. If it is not possible for you to=2
0attend this Saturday and you would
like to be considered for casting, please call to schedule an
alternative date and let us know of your interest and
experience. TCHH invites and encourages actors of
all levels of experience, from complete novice to seasoned
professional, to audition.
