[Capdist-auditions] Music Director Needed

Hi Everyone -

The Delta Xi cast of Alpha Psi Omega, the theatre honor fraternity located
on the campus of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute seeks a Musical Director
for their September production of the musical [title of show].

Just to reduce any confusion, [title of show] is indeed the actual name of
the show. If you are not familiar with it please visit their website at
www.titleofshow.com.

The Music Director will be responsible for vocal coaching the cast of four,
being the rehearsal accompanist, and the performance accompanist. The Music
Director will also play from onstage during the production and will be
interacting with the cast (he/she does have several lines) during the
performances. This musical only requires a keyboard and therefore the Music
Director will not be responsible for working with a full pit orchestra. A
modest stipend will be offered based on budgeting considerations and will be
commensurate on experience.

Rehearsals will begin in July based on availability of the cast and
production staff. Production dates will be September 10, 11, 16, 17, and 18
and all peformances will be held at the RPI Playhouse on the RPI Campus in
Troy.
