OUTDOOR DRAMA HOLDS AUDITIONS FOR SUMMER PRODUCTION
 
Lake George, NY:  The Last of the Mohicans Outdoor Drama, a non-profit organization formed in 2005 is seeking performers for a new stage adaptation of James Fenimore Cooper’s The Last of the Mohicans.  
 
Auditions will be conducted on Monday, May 17 and Tuesday, May 18 from 6-10PM in the theatre of Adirondack Community College, 640 Bay Road, Queensbury, NY .
 
Additional auditions will be conducted in the Capital District Area later in May.
 
Characters include 15 male roles including British soldiers and officers, as well as Native American portrayals, and 5 women’s roles.
 
Performers must be available to attend all rehearsals beginning June 20 and running Monday through Thursday evenings at ACC.  
 
Rehearsals will be held in the Capital District Area.
 
The summer public performance schedule will be August 5-10th and will be staged in the courtyard of the Fort William Henry Museum in Lake George this year. Selected cast must be available for the full production schedule.   
 
All positions will be paid a stipend at the completion of the contract.
 
This outdoor drama production is being supported in part by the Warren County Tourism Occupancy Tax Fund with additional assistance from the Town of Lake George and The Fort William Henry Corporation.
