Be prepared to have fun! The Drowsy Chaperone is one of the most entertaining
shows to hit the Broadway stage. Originally written as a skit for a real life
bride and groom, the Drowsy Chaperone was expanded to be a silly, yet comical
farce of an impending marriage in the 1930’s. It is a show which showcases a
multitude of comical actors, with every part performing some solo work. It is
also a fairly short show, giving a strong cast the opportunity to perfect a
well-rehearsed performance. All of the characters, or should I say caricatures
are the comic relief in the show. Come one, come all for this exciting
opportunity and area premier!
