HAIR THE AMERICAN TRIBAL LOVE ROCK MUSICAL

THE AGE OF AQUARIUS IS COMING TO SARATOGA SPRINGS THIS FALL!!

Good Morning, Starshine! Let The Sunshine In! The Age of Aquarius! Easy To
Be Hard! Where Do I Go? These and so many other popular songs come from one
source: the ageless musical HAIR. Home Made Theater is proud to announce the
auditions for this one-of-a-kind show. HMT is looking forward with genuine
excitement to recruit actors/ singers/ dancers/ musicians who want to have a
unique performing experience and create a Tribe together. Originating in the
tumultuous years of the late Sixties, the origins of HAIR are cabarets,
medicine shows, Motown, antiwar demonstrations, be-ins, love-ins and Rock
and Roll. It is untamed and unpredictable, reflecting the energy and
idealism of a generation, as well as the anger and social consciousness.
HAIR, as conceived by James Rado, Gerome Ragni and Galt McDermott, is a work
of vision.

HMT is looking to cast up to two dozen vibrant and fearless performers of
ALL ETHNICITIES, shapes and sizes, between the ages of 19 and 40, who can
sing, dance and/or play musical instruments and/or have circus skills,
acrobatics, speak foreign languages, know tai chi, yoga, can improvise and
who work well with others--who will want to take this dynamic Trip together!

questionable authority figures, such as: High School Principals, Tourists,
Policemen, Abraham Lincoln, Astronauts, Nuns and Buddhist Monks and
additional street people and hallucinations! It will be FUN!
