Home Made Theater Holds Open Adult Male Auditions for 

9 TO 5: THE MUSICAL

 

Home Made Theater announces open auditions for men for their October
production of Dolly Parton and Patricia Resnick's 9 TO 5: THE MUSICAL,
directed and choreographed by Laurie Larson, musical direction by Richard
Cherry.  Auditions will be held on Monday, July 9th at 6:00 p.m. in the NYS
Parks Administration Building (on the back side of the theater) in the
Saratoga Spa State Park.  Enter via the door on the same porch as the stage
door.

9 to 5: The Musical is a hilarious story of friendship and revenge in the
Rolodex era.  It tells the story of three unlikely friends who conspire to
take control of their company and learn there's nothing they can't do - even
in a man's world.  Outrageous, thought-provoking and even a little romantic,
9 to 5 is about teaming up and taking care of business...it's about getting
credit and getting even.... What a way to make a living!

Acting, singing (any vocal range) and dancing roles are still available.
Those auditioning should prepare 32 measures of a standard musical number in
their key.   An accompanist will be provided.  Actors are asked to dress
comfortably for auditions including footwear.  Actors may be asked to do
short movement excerpts.  Actors should bring a current photo & resume.
Photos cannot be returned.

Production dates are weekends, October 12-28, 2012. Rehearsals begin in late
August with a full schedule beginning September 4th. Some July/August dates
may be scheduled according to availability.  No appointments are necessary
