New Dance Opportunities for Everyone at Dance + 22
Festival!


 
Saratoga
Springs – At the National Museum of Dance, on Sunday, March 25th,
the annual Dance Plus Festival is celebrating its 22-year anniversary by
offering twenty exciting new dance and movement classes taught by NYC and
Capital Region professionals, including many who have performed and instructed nationally and
internationally.  Classes for children and
adults of all ability levels run from 10:00am – 5:45pm. Prices range from $30-$45 per day for the public and
Dance Alliance members; discounts are available when pre-registered by March 20th. There are also rates per class and reduced fees for children
and their guardians. Dance + 22 is sponsored by the Capital District Dance
Alliance, Skidmore College Dance Department, and the National Museum of Dance. For

Dance
styles offered during the day include: Jazz, Hip Hop, Modern, Tap, Ballet, Belly
Dancing, Swing and Shim Sham, Lindy Hop, Dances From Greece and Cyprus, and ballet
and movement classes for children. For overall physical well-being and the exploration
of the joy of movement, opportunities include: NIA, Tai Chi, Pilates, Balletone
and Vinyasa Yoga.  

The
Dance Alliance, an organization of choreographers, dancers, teachers and
advocates of dance, aims to create an atmosphere in which dance will flourish
by networking and sharing resources among its members; by supporting a critical
process for choreographers, performers and audience; and by sponsoring, alone or in

collaboration with other institutions, dance education programs and concerts
