*Write Your Own Musical!*

Learn to write a short musical with playwright/composer/lyricist Kit
Goldstein Grant and music educator/pianist Rebecca Benjamin.  Students will
learn the basics of lyric writing, song form, and what goes into making a
memorable melody. Together, the group will come up with a fun story and
work together to write the songs to go with it!  On the final day, students
will perform a staged reading of their work for parents and friends.  *For
students age 7 - 12.  Students should bring a notebook, pencil, and lunch.*
