CASTING CALL FOR EDUCATIONAL VIDEO INTENDED FOR HAIRSTYLISTS

To take place:
Friday, February 8, 2013 from 10:30am to 3:00pm
at Cengage Learning, 5 Maxwell Drive, Clifton Park, NY 12065

THE PROJECT
Educational publisher is creating a 25 minute video to depict salon critical business practices within dramatic role-playing scenarios. We only have one day to complete the shoot. All scenes will be shot on location in Schenectady NY and scripts that the Publisher has written will be provided to the chosen talent in advance to prepare.  Scripts include dialogue between a hairstylist and customers to show booking an appointment, buying retail, and consultation process.

THE TALENT
Milady seeks 3 actors:


*          One female to play new customer: 20-30 years old; medium to long length, dark hair. Needs to be willing to trim hair (bring length up) and preferably frame face with layers (Note: We are willing to discuss the hairstyle with the model - it doesn't have to be a drastic haircut.)



*          One female to play the hairstylist:  18-35 years old; background in cosmetology is ideal but not necessary; looking for great personality and comfortable on camera; preferably ethnically diverse (not Caucasian).



*          One male or female to act as receptionist or client in waiting room - No speaking role. Young Male or Female in their 20's.
All actors must be available for rehearsal on Saturday, March 9 from 2pm to 5pm and the shoot date of Sunday, March 10, 2013.
Actors selected will receive payment and compensation to be discussed if chosen for the role. Payment will depend on role ranging from $200-750.
All actors must have their own transportation.
