The Hilltowns Players announce auditions for their traveling spring dinner theatre comedy "Showcase at First Baptist", written by Ron Osborne, directed by Rich Bartley.  Six women needed (five middle aged and one mid-twenties).  Auditions to be held Mon. Feb. 11th and Wed. Feb. 13th at 7:30 pm at Camp Pinnacle, Pinnacle Road, Voorheesville, NY (near Thacher Park). The play takes place in 1970 in the small town of Ivy Gap, Tennessee.  In the wake of a storm that has caused damage in their community, key women of First Baptist Church gather to commiserate and try to put things back together.  To raise spirits and funds for rebuilding, the women plan an evening of entertainment designed to showcase the congregation's talents.  Could it be that some of the gang plan a song and dance that would shock the congregation?  Change is in the air as these six diverse women challenge institutions  as well as each other.  Along the way, there are laughs to be shared, battles to be fought, losses to be grieved, relationships to be mended, and love to be won.
