The Blue Horse Repertory Company offers "Discover the Actor Inside,"  an eight-week adult acting course sponsored by The Theatre Institute at Sage College. (http://www.sage.edu/theatre/ )


"Discover the Actor Inside" is a "method" based class that focuses on building a solid foundation in the art of acting for the serious student. Students will concentrate on scene study, monologues, character work and script analysis. Ms. Ecobelli uses a unique mixture of creative exercises, theatre games and improvisation to build confidence and access emotions in a supportive, creative and fun environment.


Classes are conducted at the Russell Sage College campus in Troy, N.Y. Held every Wednesday evening from 6 to 9:30 pm at the Art Lab Wing Theatre in the Schacht Fine Arts Center. Located on Division Street between First and River Streets.  


 All classes are ongoing. Which means that each student makes up his own 8 week schedule, designed to meet the needs of the working actor. Cost is $325 for 8 week sessions. The class is open to beginners thru advanced students over the age of 18.


 A unique feature of this course, which is offered continuously throughout the year, is that each class is different and tailored to the individual student needs. Many students take the course over again and again. Students who miss one or more sessions can make them up as long as advanced notice is given. Each session is followed by a workshop performance open to family and friends.
