[Capdist-auditions] Auditions for "Crimes of the Heart"

Mill City Productions is pleased to announce audition dates for its upcoming production of "Crimes of the Heart" by Beth Henley. The production will be directed by Jackie DeGiorgis.Auditions will be held on Thursday, August 7th at 7pm and Sunday, August 10th at 12pm. Auditions will be held at the Mill City Theatre in Building 4N (next to the Visitor's Center) of the Western Gateway Heritage State Park in North Adams, MA.In "Crimes of the Heart", the three Magrath sisters have gathered to await news of the family patriarch, their grandfather, who is living out his last hours in the local hospital. Lenny, the oldest sister, is unmarried at thirty and facing diminishing marital prospects; Meg, the middle sister, who quickly outgrew their small town, is back after a failed singing career on the West Coast; while Babe, the youngest, is out on bail after having shot her husband in the stomach. Their troubles, grave and yet, somehow, hilarious, are highlighted by their priggish cousin, Chick, and by the awkward young lawyer who tries to keep Babe out of jail while helpless not to fall in love with her.Adults of all ages are invited to audition. Auditioners of all experience levels are welcome. A cast of 4 women and 2 men are needed.
