CONFETTI STAGE NEEDS YOU!

This year marks the tenth anniversary of Confetti Stage's original short
play festival. This October, five wonderful, diverse plays will be
presented at the Albany Masonic Temple in downtown Albany. Confetti Stage
is seeking directors, actors, and crew people to share in this year's
special...
anniversary showcase.

AUDITIONS:
Auditions will be held on Monday, August 18th & Tuesday, August 19th at
6:30pm at the Albany Masonic Hall, 67 Corning Place, Albany NY.

Actors should prepare a 1-2 minute monologue. It does not have to be
memorized. Actors may also be asked to read selected sides from the plays.

Please also come prepared with your scheduling conflicts.

Performance dates:
October 3-4, 9-11, 2014 AT 7:30PM
October 5 & 12, 2014 AT 2:00PM

 We are seeking actors to fill the following roles for our 5 shows:

Anonymous, Anonymous

Woman Therapist (Dr.Walls, AKA Molly) - 40’s
First Anonymous Woman (AKA Hope) - 25-45
Second Anonymous Woman (AKA Melba) - 30-50
First Anonymous Man (AKA Sam) - 35-55
Second Anonymous Man (AKA ) - 30-40

Paladina

PALADINA - Toughest superhero on the planet
KELLY - Pundit on a conservative news network. although she still struggles
to make ends meet. Never gets the credit she deserves. Filling in for
Bradley Rupert.

Luc

MARK: American, male, 40s. This is his apartment, which he shares with a
pilot, Luc. Has had a tragedy he has a hard time facing.
MARIE-JEAN: French, female, 30s. A friend of Luc’s and unexpected visitor.
Has had a tragedy which is difficult for her but she has accepted.

Reunion

ED - A young man, manager of a coffee shop.
CATHY - A woman in her early 40’s, an artist.
MARILYN - A woman in her early 40’s, a wealthy suburbanite.
TERRI - A lawyer.

Fifth Stage, Fourth Wall

CLARA - A young married woman who teaches English and Theater at an
elementary school, as played by “Clara” (or whatever the actress playing
CLARA happens to be named.)
TED - Her husband, as played by “Cliff” (or whatever the actor playing TED
happens to be named)
DR. DUNHAM - Her psychiatrist, as played by “Joey” (or whatever the actor
playing DR. DUNHAM happens to be named)
GERALD - Her loving mother, as played by the director “Gerald” (or whatever
the actor playing GERALD happens to be named)
TEMPLETON - Her father, as played by the “playwright” planted in the
audience.

CREW:
Crew people include lighting board operator, sound board operator, and
stage crew. Confetti Stage is happy to welcome new faces to its
ever-growing company. Come show your face and share your talent with this
