Date of shoot: late November-early december 2014.
Here are the characters you can audition for:

José Garcia: he’s the peacemaker of the group. His dream is to become a TV /movie producer.
Age: 18-28
 
Lina Alonzo: she’s a sweetheart. She’s always seeing the brighter side of everything.  Even though she and her mom are having a hard time, Lina always had a beautiful voice and dances amazingly
Age: 18-28

Brian miller:  He’s kind of a hot head, but boy can he rap.  He thinks he’s the next Jay-Z.
Age: 18-28


 
Sophie abella:  a talented pianist and one hell of a singer.  She is a cool, laid-back, go with the flow type of girl who is dating Gabe, a guitarist/singer. Age: 18-28

Gabe Garcia: he’s the older brother of José Garcia. He’s funny, laid back, but also protective of the ones he loves. Age: 18-28

Erica Moore: she’s a female rapper.  She’s like Left-Eye from TLC crazy, passionate, outspoken and will fight for her what she believes in. she also dating Brian. Age: 18-28



Mike O’Conner: a singer who’s a hopeless romantic, charming and every girl’s ideal boyfriend because he knows how to treat a lady however the only girl he wants is Courtney. He also has a step crew who competes in the k-blast step competition every year. Age: 18-28

Jay O’Conner: a singer and dancer and mike’s brother he’s a big prankster who comes in handy at times, he’s a big kid at heart. Age: 18-28

The lovely trio girl group Second Nature:

 Trish Daniels: she adds that fresh R&B style to the group; she’s like the big sister of the group. . Age: 18-28

Courtney brooks: she’s a funny, down to earth kind of girl who brings that sexy Latin style to the group.
Age: 18-28
 
Brie o’day.  She can be a fire cracker when she’s pissed off but she can dance her ass off on the dance floor.18-28

   The supporting cast:

 Mrs. Garcia: old fashion Puerto Rican mother who don’t take any crap from anyone not even her own kids. Age: 40-50. Must be able to speak Spanish.

Mrs. Alonzo: the supporting mother who’s struggling to make ends meet but gets it done.
 Age: 40-50

Jesse Cortez: the loving older brother of victor, even though victor pushes him away he still loves and supports victor. Age 20-30 

Background actors/extras any Ethnicities and any age.

A camera man and sound person.
