Casting Call for "Don't Iron While the Strike is Hot!" new musical about
young Irish immigrant Kate Mullany's 1864 Organizing and Strike of the
Collar Laundry Workers in Troy NY, the first bona-fide Female labor Union in
the Country. From the bottom rung of the social ladder, Kate's vision,
passion and pragmatism changed the paradigm for working women in the
civilized world. 

Produced by The American Labor Studies Center, written and Directed by Ruth
Henry, Executive Producer Anthony Bifaro. Cast of 36 characters.

Auditions at the Troy YWCA (21 1st St) on Monday Feb 24.  Sign-ups at 6pm,
call-backs (and Mon conflicts)  Wed Feb 24 6-8:30 pm. 

Please bring a head shot or photo. For singing roles, please be prepared to
sing from sheet music you bring. Some non-singing roles.
