Audition Prep Workshop



June 21st  9am-12noon

Ages 9-13 years

*Don't let auditions get you nervous!!!*

Do you have an audition coming up soon?  Need help choosing the right
song?  Need help learning how to best perform it?  Want to feel less
nervous when you walk into the room?  Learn how to do this and much, much
more!  Learn about EVERY step of the audition process and feel better about
achieving your full potential while auditioning.  Improve your singing and
acting audition skills through the personal attention of highly qualified
teaching artists. All participants will take part in a mock audition.
Personal feedback will be shared with all participants individually. Early
registration is recommended.

Whether you are preparing for your next audition or just want to develop
and practice good audition habits, our Audition Prep Workshop will get you
ready to put your best face forward!



Participants will receive instruction and individualized feedback in the
areas of singing, acting and cold-readings.  Additional instruction in
audition etiquette and proper resume & headshot composition will have you
confident and prepared to present yourself as a true professional.

Space is limited in order for personal attention to be paid to each
participant.

15 students Maximum

This class is designed for children who are involved in Theatre and would
like to learn Audition Techniques to help them with their future auditions.



*What To Bring:*

All students should prepare a musical theatre piece for a mock audition
(bring sheet music)

Bring Headshot and Resume if available.

Pencil

Accompaniment CD (with Karaoke track of audition song)
