Colonial Little Theatre calls for actors for 2014 New Play Festival
JOHNSTOWN – Colonial Little Theatre calls for four men and four women for its 2014 New Play Festival of staged readings May 9, 10, 16 and 17.

Five short plays by Capital Region authors will be presented the weekend of May 9, 10:

“Method” by Kimberly Ann Saunders. 

“Quickee Lube” by Steve Gottlieb. 

“Dating for Dummies” by Julie Demers. 

“Hippie Love in Late Middle Age” by Edward Versailles.

“When Irish Eyes Are Flirting” by Joe Starzyk. 

Kimberly Ann Saunders will direct all five short plays.

“The Waver,” a two-act comedy by Anthony R. Pezzula of Albany will be presented the weekend of May 16, 17. 

Suzie McLellan will direct “The Waver.”

Auditions will not be required. As these are staged readings, memorization is not necessary. There will be fewer rehearsals.
