HMT Announces Summer Programs for Children & Teens

Home Made Theater is pleased to announce their 16th summer of
programming for children ages 8 through 18. HMT’s classes are an
excellent opportunity for children and teens to use their creativity and
talents during their summer vacations, while building their self-esteem
and confidence in a nurturing and supportive environment. HMT is
pleased to welcome back returning instructor NYC actor/director Paul
Sigrist.

Space is available in all classes: The Foundations of Good Singing,
Improvisation, Scenes from Great American Plays, and Shakespeare for
Young Actors. All classes are week-long sessions running Monday through
Friday, except Shakespeare which is a two week course.

Instructor Paul Sigrist is a professional singing actor and director
who works in theater, film and television. He has performed with many
New York companies including 19 seasons with The New York Gilbert and
Sullivan Players. From 2005-2011 he was the stage director for student
productions for Opera Saratoga. He has appeared on television in
Saturday Night Live, Smash, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Law and Order:
SVU, 30 Rock, Blue Bloods, Damages, Gossip Girl and many others. Paul’s
film credits include The Music Never Stopped, Baby Mama, Synecdoche,
College Road Trip, Julie and Julia, The Switch, Wall Street 2, New
Year's Eve as well as the upcoming Imogene, The Secret Life of Walter
Mitty, Very Good Girls, and What Maisie Knew. Paul is a proud member of
Actors Equity Association (AEA) and the newly-merged Screen Actors
Guild/American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA).

All classes are limited to 15 students per class. Registrations will
be accepted in the order in which they are received and payment is due
at the time of registration. To download a flyer with full class
descriptions including costs and complete schedule, go to
