MOPCO STARTING YOUTH IMPROV TROUPE FOR AGES 11-15 (Tuition program)

 

The Mop & Bucket Co., the Capital Region’s premiere improv troupe, seeks young adults, ages 11-15, to be part of a performing improvisational theatre troupe.

 

The program will feature training in improv skills and performance opportunities. Admission to the tuition-based program is by audition. Tuition assistance for talented students with financial restrictions will be available.

 

Audition Sunday, December 14th at 1pm at Mopco Studio, 309 Union Street, Schenectady

 

Rehearsals will be 1-3pm on Sundays at 309 Union Street, Schenectady
The spring semester will run January 11th-May 24th
Four public performances in the spring semester
Tuition for the semester is $250

The Mop & Bucket Co. is the Capital Region’s premiere improv theatre troupe.  The company has been in residence at Proctors since 2007. In addition to performing regularly at Proctors, the group performs at other area venues, and for private and corporate events. The company teaches classes for adults and holds special events at their Union Street location.

 

Kendle Wade, actor, educator, improviser and teacher, has performed with improv teams in Austin, Boulder, Denver and most recently in Albany. In the summers she teaches in Texas at Camp Shakespeare at Winedale, a residential program for middle and high school students.
