Winter 2015 Adult Acting Classes Start at HMT!

Home Made Theater announces a new acting class for adults ages 18 and up
starting in January and running into February. The class is held at the Spa
Little Theater in the Saratoga Spa State Park and is taught by Devra
Cohen-Tigör. 

Scene Study for Adults for actors ages 18+: An actor’s skills, beginning or
advanced, need constant refreshing, and it is a life-long learning
experience. Classes will include script analysis, scene work, improvisation,
and useful audition technique (if working on monologues). Actors will have
the opportunity to practice and perform two scenes and/or monologues in
class for audition preparation. They will receive expert feedback as well as
learn how to have a discerning eye and provide useful feedback for
classmates. Actors may either bring in a scene or monologue that they want
to work on, or one will be assigned with or without a partner. Some weekly
preparation work outside of class will be expected. All levels of experience
are accepted as actors work at their own levels to improve their skills.

Scene Study begins January 7th and is taught from 7:00-8:30pm, running for
six consecutive Wednesdays.  Scene Study costs $150.

Registrations are accepted over the phone with a credit card, or by mail
with check or credit card.  Class size is limited, and registrations are
