AUDITIONS (slightly revised) for salon-staged-reading of new musical:

1) Female lead: Petite ingenue, who can read as 19 or under; legit mezzo; feisty and charming
2) Male lead: Tall juvenile, high baritone or tenor; can read as 20s or early 30s; handsome and self-confident, if a bit dim
3) Featured: A Poet, 20s to 50s, excellent baritone; warm and wise; at ease with himself


	AUDITIONS: FRIDAY, JANUARY 30, 7:30 PM
			      SATURDAY, JANUARY 31, 2 PM

		40 Church Street
		Chatham, NY

No a cappella singing (Accompanist provided.) 
No monologues. (Read from script.) 
Broadway music. No rock, pop or "baby-sing."
Whole song, not 16 bars. (It might be wise to bring a ballad and a charm song, just in case.)
Bring printed music, picture and résumé.

Non-Equity, though Equity minimums for staged readings will mostly be honored.

Mandatory rehearsals:
	Friday March 14, 7:30 pm Rehearsal
	Friday March 20, 7:30 pm Run-through
	Saturday March 21, 2 pm Run-through; 7:30 PERFORMANCE

Other rehearsals will be scheduled to accommodate individual actor considerations.

For performance, music must be memorized. For dialogue, book may be carried.
