About the show:

Uncle Croupy's Funtastic Funhouse is an episodic “radio series” that takesplaces on the set of a low budget public access children’s show. Things get hectic when the upscale director that washired for the show decides to walk, leaving his weak-willed assistant incharge. The actors on the show try to use this turn of events to further theirown agenda's for the project. Some want to be bigger stars, some want to getother cast mates fired and some want to try to purposely get the show canceled!

Cast of Characters (Note that each actor needs to soundlike the character’s age and description. They do not need to look like themsince this is ultimately designed as an audio program.):

Uncle Croupy/Neil Williams: Middle Aged Man, Former Sitcom Starwhose life has hit rock bottom. Now hosts the children’s show Uncle Croupy’sFuntastic Funhouse, but it’s always obvious he really doesn’t want to be there.

Mr. Waffles/Andy Barringer: Young Actor. Does most of the show’ssinging. The shows new director.

Ronnie: The shows announcer. Not much isknown about Ronnie. He seems to never leave his sound booth and usually keepsto himself.

Jerry Rosenblatt: The show’s producer. Honestly doesn’tcare much about quality, just that he gets his paycheck.

Director: Alphonse Babineaux (Bah-Bih-New). Avant GuardDirector of the show.

Timmy: Member of the Funhouse Gang. Just anaverage kid. About 9 years old.
Jackie: Member of the Funhouse Gang. The mostsensible one in the group. Also the only girl. About 8 years old.

Sam: Member of the Funhouse Gang. A bit ofa jerk. Thinks he’s much funnier than he is. About 9 years old.

Billy: Member of the Funhouse Gang. A bitslower than the other kids. A little odd. About 7 years old.

Professor Calamity/George Bates:  The show’s resident "scientist". Speaks in a veryfake German accent when in character. Despite not having a large part, hegenuinely likes working on the show. A little bit of a hippie.

Duke/Hubert Robinson:  Duke is the pet of Professor Calamity. Hubert is actually awell-trained Shakespearian actor who has auditioned for the role of UncleCroupy, but was turned down because the producers wanted a more well-knownactor in the part, and was cast as a dog instead.

Ping-Pong the Clown/Danniel Barns:  Ping-Pong is Uncle Croupy’s sidekick. Daniel however, doesnot get along with Neil. He constantly shows up to the set drunk and messes upscenes, but the director won’t fire him because he is the producer’s son.

Abigail Harte: One of the newest show characters.Theater major in community college. Not a very good actress. Doesn’t seem allthere, but she is friendly and always eager to work.

Jenny Williams: One of the newest show characters.Theater major in community college. Pretty skilled and competent actress.Becomes the "Professor’s Assistant". Also, Neil’s niece.

Interviewer: Jamie Mason. Interviewing Jerry onbehind the scenes of UCFF.
