Sand Lake Center for the Arts, Circle Theater Players announces open
auditions for

Miracle on South Division Street

Auditions Dates:  Sunday, November 15, 6-10pm; Monday, November 16, 7-10pm

Callbacks: November 17, 7-10pm

The Nowaks of Buffalo, NY, Clara and her three grown kids have always known
they were special, ever since the miraculous night in 1942 when the Blessed
Mother appeared to Grandpa in his barbershop!  Since then, the neighborhood
has looked upon the Nowaks’ 20 foot commemorative shrine as a beacon of hope
and faith amidst the urban rubble.  And now daughter Ruth unveils her plan
to write and star in a one-woman show about the family miracle so the “whole
world will know!”  However, as her plans for theatrical immortality unfold,
the entire family’s faith is shaken to the very core when a deathbed
confession causes the family legend to unravel.  The results are heartfelt
and hilarious.

Cast: 

Clara-50’s-70

Beverly, the eldest child:  30’s

Ruth, the middle child: 30’s

Jimmy, the baby:  late 20’s-30’s

Production Dates:  March 11,12,13,17,18,19,20

Rehearsals begin January 24 with a possible read-through in December or
early January

Auditions will be done from the script

Sand Lake Center for the Arts is located on Rt. 43 in Averill Park.  From
Albany and points west take 1-90 to Exit 8.  After the first light go about
8 miles and pass the blinking yellow light in Averill Park.  Continue on rte
43 ½ mil.  Sand Lake Center for the Arts is on the left just before the next
traffic light.
