HUBBARD HALL CENTER FOR THE ARTS AND EDUCATION HOLDING AUDITIONS FOR SUMMER
TOUR OF SHAKESPEARE’S *OTHELLO*



* (Cambridge, NY April 28, 2016) Hubbard Hall Center for the Arts and
Education will hold open auditions for its summer touring production of
William Shakespeare’s Othello rehearsing weeknights & Saturdays June
14th-July 6th and performing July 7th-17th (all performances at 7pm) at
various sites throughout the community. *

Auditions will be held Saturday, May 7 from 9:00am-12:00pm in Hubbard
Hall’s Freight Depot Theater.  Actors should prepare one Shakespearean
monologue no longer than 2 minutes. Sides from the show will be provided
and actors will be paired with scene partners at the audition. Familiarity
with the script is highly recommended. Those interested should arrive at
9am and be prepared to stay until noon.

If you are unable to attend auditions on May 7 but are still interested in
auditioning, please contact Director Erin Ouellette via email directly at
eeouellette at gmail.com to schedule an alternate audition time.



In keeping with Hubbard Hall’s mission to combine professionals, seasoned
amateurs, students, and novices in its productions, everyone who has a
strong desire to perform is invited to audition. Those people interested in
working behind the scenes in a technical capacity are also urged to inquire.



Hubbard Hall Center for the Arts and Education, located in a renovated 1878
rural opera house and adjacent former freight yard complex, is a community
