[Capdist-auditions] Free Set Design Workshop at Albany Barn, Saturday at Noon

The Creative LIcense Theater Craft Learning Series "Behind the Curtain"
continues this weekend with a free Set Design workshop with designer
Larissa Groesbeck. This week, some of the discussed topics:

Session 1- Brainstorming (Saturday, December 10th, noon-1:30pm)
A set designer does quite a bit of research and preparation before coming
up with the final idea that is agreed upon by the production team. The set
designer works with the director and other members of the production staff
to for a cohesive vision of what the show should visually look like when
completed. Reading the script and getting an idea of the atmosphere of the
show and what the characters will need to work from is a crucial part of
the set designing process.  For this part of the workshop we will be
brainstorming ideas to begin forming an idea of what the final product
should look like when it appears on the stage.

This is the first of five sessions. You can attend any and all of our
workshops free of charge without committing to any number.
