Auditions are being held for a Town Players of Pittsfield's staged reading of "Wedding Secrets II, Samantha's Turn" written and directed by Joe Starzyk on Tuesday, June 28 and Wednesday, June 29 at the Whitney Center for the Arts, 42 Wendell Avenue in Pittsfield. Sides from the script will be provided and auditions will start at 7pm.


"Wedding Secrets II - Samantha's Turn" is the sequel to the award winning "Wedding Secrets". In the sequel, it is 7 years in the future and now it is Susan Devlin's younger sister, Samantha Thompson's turn to get married. They arrive at a B&B only to find out that it is owned by old friends Joey and Betty. As many other familiar characters gather, the mayhem ensues.The pace moves rapidly toward a "love conquers all" ending (sort of), but pauses along the way to encounter golden age cougars, pot brownies, adult diapers, and as always, many ties.




Needed for the cast are seven men and seven women ranging in age from 21 to 70. This staged reading will be performed on Sunday, August 28, at the Whitney.
