Staging Youths’ Future,Inc. (East Greenbush,NY) will be holding auditions for their upcomingproduction of
 
“Annie”
 
 
Auditions:

Camp Fee :
The fee for this three week camp is $685.00. $50.00 is due at auditions.
 
Location:
 
East     Greenbush Town Hall – 225 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer, NY 12144

 
Rehearsals:
 
Summer     Camp August 7 through August 25th  
 
Monday     through Friday 9AM – 4PM

 
Performances:
 
September     15 – September 17, 2017
 
Friday     and Saturday at 7:00 PM, & Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 PM

 
Show Description:
Based on the popular comic strip by Harold Gray, Annie hasbecome a worldwide phenomenon and was the winner of seven Tony Awards,including Best Musical. The beloved book and score by Tony Award winners,Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin, features some of thegreatest musical theatre hits ever written, including "Tomorrow."
With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Anniecharms everyone's hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New YorkCity. She is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on thedoorstep of a New York City Orphanage that is run by the cruel, embittered MissHannigan. With the help of the other girls in the Orphanage, Annie escapes tothe wondrous world of NYC. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foilsMiss Hannigan's evil machinations... and even befriends President FranklinDelano Roosevelt! She finds a new home and family in billionaire, OliverWarbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt namedSandy.

Annie
A street-wise orphan; she is eventually taken in by OliverWarbucks. Spunky, friendly, big-voiced.

Warbucks
A successful businessman with a warm heart. Rich, stiff-collared,bullish. 
 
Grace Farrell
Faithful secretary to Mr.. Oliver Warbucks. Poised, sweet, gentle.
Vocal range top: G5
 
Orphans
The other girls in the orphanage with Annie. These girls aregritty, neglected and vulnerable, yet basically honest and potentiallyloveable.
 
Molly,Kate, Tessie, Pepper, July, and Duffy
 
Servants
The servants at the Warbucks mansion. 
Drake,Mrs. Pugh, Mrs. Greer, Cecille, and Annette
 
Miss Hannigan
The orphanage matron who hates children but is fond of liquor.Very disillusioned, bitter, and cold.
 
 
Rooster
Miss Hannigan's no-good brother looking for a quick buck. Asleazy, slick con man.
 
Lily
Rooster's girlfriend, who is also out for a quick buck. She isconsidered to be a floozy and bimbo.
 
Bert Healy
The ultimate radio personality. He helps Annie by broadcastingabout the search for her birth parents.
 
Roosevelt
The 32nd President of the United States. A Democrat and friend ofWarbucks
