Announcingphone auditions for roles in Minutiae, an original serial radio dramabased in, and performed in, Amsterdam, NY. 




Myname is Jay Towne, the writer and producer of Minutiae, and I amlooking for dedicated professionals to play roles, or understudyroles, in the last show of the second season, and continue into thethird season, which starts next year.

Minutiaeconcerns the McDonald’s, a mixed race family from Amsterdam,reeling from the death of their favorite son, Jason. The story istold through dialogue and exposition, flashbacks, memories, andreading of Jason’s short fiction writings.





Theroles currently available:

Noemi/NoelCruz – 20’s, Transgender girlfriend to Jason, Main character


JesusCruz – 50’s, Manufacturing supervisor, Spanish speaker preferred

GloriaCruz – 40’s, RN, Spanish speaker preferred

BigJohn – 20-30’s, Mohawk Indian, Bodyguard, Main character

Fawzyia– 20-30’s, Pakistani Muslim, Customer Service Manager




Understudyopportunities for all main and supporting roles.

Allroles are voluntary, and are non-paid.


Theroles require a 3 hour time commitment once every other month: arehearsal, and a two episode performance and recording session infront of an audience on the same day, usually a Saturday, inAmsterdam, NY.
