CASTING for “AUDITION DAY” - CAPSTONE SHORT FILM


For ADULT and YOUTH roles.


Rehearsal Date: March 9 (only mandatory for specific roles)


Filming Dates: March 16, 17, 18

@ Averill Park High School


Audition Day is a comedic short film that takes a look at a day of
auditions for a youth community theater organization.



LEAD ROLES:

REBECCA (Female, 30s-40s) - The director of the org. Her driving force is
her passion for youth theater. In her words, it’s “the purest form of art.”


WINSTON (Male, 40s-50s) - The musical director of the org. Rebecca’s right
hand man. He’s not afraid to speak his mind.


SUPPORTING ROLES:


AUDITIONING KIDS (All ages) - Multiple speaking roles available. Each role
has their own audition scene. Some roles have a few extra lines as well.


STAGE PARENTS (All ages) - Several roles available for parents of the
auditioning kids.
