Curtain Call Theatre (Latham, NY) will be holding auditions for


*“DON’T DRESS FOR DINNER” *

   - Sunday – January 21, 2018 - 7:00 PM
   - Monday - January 22, 2018 - 7:00 PM


*Location:*



   - Curtain Call Theatre – 1 Jeanne Jugan Lane, Latham,  NY 12110


*Rehearsals:*



   - Begin April 2018
   - Sunday – Wednesday evenings (4-5 times per week)


*Performances:*



   - May 17 – June 16, 2018
   - Thursday at 7:30 PM, Friday and Saturday at 8:00 PM, & Sunday at 3:00
   PM
   - One Saturday matinee at 3:00 PM on May 26th



*Show Description: *
In a stylishly converted Columbia County farmhouse, Bernard is planning a
luxurious weekend rendezvous with his sexy Manhattan mistress, even
arranging for an expensive caterer to provide gourmet meals. He’s sending
his wife off to visit her mother and has invited his best friend, Robert to
provide an alibi. What could go wrong…?


Everything, as the caterer is mistaken for the mistress, the wife stays
home to be with her lover (Robert), the mistress doesn’t’ have a clue about
cooking, and the evening erupts into a comical disaster as Bernard and
Robert are forced to improvise it all at breakneck speed.


*Available Roles: *

*Bernard*:  Late 40s to early 50s, wealthy, successful businessman who has
it all, including a delayed case of the 7-year itch, resulting in an affair
with a beautiful actress. Not quite as sophisticated as he thinks he is.


*Jacqueline*: late 30s, early 40s, attractive, spoiled, also feeling a bit
bored in her marriage to Bernard and is having an affair with his best
friend.


*Robert:* Late 40s to early 50s, wealthy, traveling businessman, Bernard’s
best friend who is in love with Jacqueline.  A bit gullible.


*Suzanne*: 20s-30s, Bernard’s beautiful mistress, a New York actress;
spoiled and willful.

*Suzette:* 20s-30s, attractive, hard-working New York caterer/chef.
Unsophisticated, but direct and a real businesswoman.


*George:* 30s-40s, tough guy from the Bronx, very protective of his Suzette
(This character appears briefly at end of play).
