CHILD ACTOR SOUGHT FOR “A TURN OF THE SCREW” FOR HALLOWEEN Kaaterskill Actors Theater seeks a boy for its stage presentation of the Henry James ghost story, adapted and directed by Jim Milton.  Performances are at the Doctorow Center for the Arts in Hunter, NY during the Halloween season on October 26, 27, 28 and November 2, 3 and 4. Rehearsals are in Catskill during the day on weekends starting in late August. “A Turn of the Screw” is one of the most famous ghost stories ever written.  It concerns a woman who is hired by a mysterious gentleman to be a governess to two small orphans at a remote and crumbling mansion.  Things go horribly wrong. ROLE:  Miles – 10-to-12 year-old boy; lead role. He is the foremost of the Governess's charges. He must project innocence and a wisdom beyond his years. Experienced children only. This role cannot be played by a teen, but rather a pre-teen child. Email pictures/resumes to: Kaaterskillactors at yahoo.com.
