Circle Theatre Players auditions for Becky’s New Car by Steven Dietz will be held November 26 at 7:30pm and November 28 at 7pm on stage at the Sand Lake Center for the Arts, 2880 NY 43, Averill Park, NY. Have you every been tempted to flee your own life? Becky Foster is caught in middle age, middle management and in a middling marriage ....with no prospects for change on the horizon....until one night! When a woman says she wants a new car she wants a new lifer.Becky’s New Car is that perfect  blend of hilarious comedy and substantial weight, a story about choices and consequences that could believably happen to anyone.

 

4 men - one 26, rest 40s-60s

3 women - 23, rest 40s-50s

 

Becky - frumpy house to glamour girl

Joe - loving, hard working husband

Chris their son - in grad school, living at home

Walter - socially awkward, very wealthy, widower

Kenni - His daughter, oddly brittle

Steve - simpering car salesman widower

Ginger - femme fatale, heiress on the prowl
