Hi All and Happy New Year! 

Currently casting are the following day player roles for the hockey feature Odd Man Rush, shooting in Utica NY in February 2019. I will send you sides and a link to upload your self tape video. 

All self-tape auditions must be submitted by 1/15/19. This is a SAG low budget film, with day player rates starting at $630/day. 

Feel free to share descriptions with anyone who fits. Some travel may be covered depending on the role.

[ROOS] 30-60, a Swedish man with Down Syndrome/mental handicap, Roos is the team's equipment and rink manager. Always listening to something on his headphones, Roos likes to mind his own business, but plays close attention to the players and his job. When Bobby plays along with his challenges, Roos decides that he likes the guy...SUPPORTING (12)

[GUSTAV] 17-23, Swedish, outgoing and friendly, he's a hockey player for Lindefors with good team spirit. Gustav partakes in every social activity he can and enjoys time spent with the guys...SUPPORTING (23)

[GETZ] Early 20s, American, Bobby’s Harvard teammate, short, dressed as leprechaun for hazing 10 lines, 2 scenes

[MAZER] Early 20s, America, Bobby’s Harvard teammate, tall and lanky, red hair and freckles, dressed as Ronald McDonald for hazing 5 lines, 2 scenes

[HALDEN] Early 20s, German or Newfoundland accent, with a sense of humor, he's a player on a German hockey team and one of Bobby's early teammates...15 lines, 5 scenes (3)

[OLDRICH] Early 20s, Austrian, Oldrich is a tough hockey player; loud and vocal, he's a leader of the team...8 lines, 4 scenes (3)

[DORJAN] Early 20s, Hungarian, he's a player on a German hockey team and one of Bobby's early teammates...8 lines, 4 scenes (2)

[10 YEAR OLD BOBBY] Bobby seen at 10 years old, he already displays quick skills with a hockey stick, and the swagger he'll use for the rest of his career, on and off the ice...3 lines, 3 scenes (6)

[COACH KRUGER] Late 30s, German, Coach Kruger is the type to get heated on the sidelines, win or lose. He trades Bobby to another team for a new washer/dryer...5 lines, 2 scenes (13)

[TIM LEVEQUE] 27, Canadian, a big, intimidating player who has a reputation after spending 3 years in prison. He's back on the ice, and surprisingly chill when he runs into Bobby...3 lines, 2 scenes (45)

[SCOREKEEPER] 40-50 The man in charge of the scoreboard, he notices Bobby in the penalty box and makes a sly deal in exchange for a signed autograph...8 lines, 1 scene (12)

[CLAIRE] 14-16 Bobby’s younger sister. She FaceTimes him when he’s in Sweden and asks for help on a homeworking assignment...8 lines, 1 scene (4)

[5 YEAR OLD BOBBY] Bobby seen at 5 years old, he's not convinced that hockey should just be about "fun" - he wants to win...6 lines, 1 scene (4)
