[Capdist-auditions] Seeking non-union talent for 'The Good Life' short film

Mike Lenz Voice, Inc. in collaboration with Logan Rando Productions is
casting non-union talent for an upstate NY Independent Short Film
called The Good Life.

Shooting is expected to occur July - September 2019.

Paid roles (listed below) as well as non-paid Day Player roles.

Please email headshot, full body shot, and video reel if you have one
(not required) to thegoodlifeshortmovie at gmail.com.  We will review all
submissions and will request live auditions.

Please submit your materials in a folder labeled as
firstname_lastname. (example: Mike_Lenz)

Shooting in the Saratoga Springs NY area and some location shooting in NYC.

This is a short film that follows the lives of Monica and Harvey - two
complete strangers living very similar lives.  Their outward success
masks a deeper longing, and bold moves lead to unexpected results,
causing these two strangers to realize they're more similar than they
could have ever imagined.

*Compensation:  *

Lead Roles - $500 total compensation (includes rehearsal and filming
days.)  Plus meals for rehearsal and filming days.

Day Player and Extra roles - No compensation.  Plus meals for
rehearsal and filming days.

*Seeking Talent:*

Harvey (Lead): Male, 25-35

Harvey is a lawyer with a mid-level firm in a big city.  He's
outwardly pretty successful but his stressful job doesn't inspire him
and his outward success masks a deeper longing for freedom and space.
He and Monica are complete strangers but living somewhat parallel
lives. A series of events in the film lead to a bold decision to make
a dramatic lifestyle change, which brings him face to face with Monica
in an unexpected place.

Monica (Lead): Female, 25-35

Monica is a stressed out mid-level manager at a marketing firm in a
big city.  She struggles with the stress of her hectic life and
uninspiring job.  Her life is following a parallel path with Harvey,
although they are complete strangers. She appears outwardly to be
fairly successful but is caught in the big city rat race and longs for
more freedom.  A series of events lead her to make a big lifestyle
change which brings her face to face with Harvey in an unexpected
place.

William Thompson (Day Player): Male, 50-60

William Thompson is Harvey's boss at at mid-level law firm.  William
gets very annoyed when Harvey isn't ready to present at a team
meeting.  William appears very briefly in one scene but needs to
express anger and frustration with Harvey.

Sam Lindsey (Day Player): Male, 40-50

Sam is the realtor who sells Harvey and Monica their respective farm
houses.  Sam appears briefly in one scene in which he places the sold
signs in front of Harvey's and Monica's properties.

Rehearsal and production dates are expected to be July - September 2019.
