Confetti Stage announces auditions for:

CHRISTMASTOWN by Wayne Rawley
Directed by Sean Baldwin, Cory Haines and John Nickles

CHRISTMASTOWN is a comedic, film noir inspired thriller. If Sam Spade were
in a 1970’s Holiday season TV special, this is what it would look like. PI
Nick Holiday finds himself in a jam when he is hired by Holly Wonderland to
investigate a case involving the town’s most famous resident, Big Red!

We are looking for 4-6 diverse actors ready for a high energy comedic
production. Actors will be covering multiple roles from the following:

Nick Holiday - Classic noir PI. This actor will not cover other roles.

Holly Wonderland - Elf and daughter of EB Wonderland. Will have to sing one
jazz song.

Jingle and Jangle - Elf muscle to Santa and Mrs. Clause.

Crusher - Reindeer enforcer.

Rudy - Best cabbie in town, especially on a foggy Christmas Eve.

Lillian Nice/Naughty - Good cop/bad cop twin sisters.

Ginny Ribbons - Investigative reporter for the Caroler.

E. B. Wonderland - Department store mogul.

Tiny - Back alley denizen with a game leg.

Santa Claus - Is he even real?

Mrs. Claus - Santa’s wife. Maybe not as sweet and jolly as she looks.

Doug Noble - Used tree salesman.

Drunk Santa - Department store fake.

Audition Dates: Monday October 7 and Wednesday October 9, 2019. Sign in at
6:30 pm. Start at 7:00 pm.

Location: Albany Masonic Temple, 67 Corning Place, Albany, NY

Auditions will consist of improvisation exercises, a one minute comedic
monologue (does not have to be memorized), and sides which will be provided.

Rehearsal schedule will be established base on cast availability. Given the
show structure, not all cast members will need to attend all rehearsals.
