[Capdist-auditions] The Mental Health Association in New York State, Inc. (MHANYS) is looking for Actors to Record a Roleplay Scenario to be Used for Educational Purposes – Small Stipend

MHANYS CarePath™ Program and Family Support Services introduce families to
the concept of whole family health within their own cultural understanding
of mental, physical and spiritual health and well‐being. Family members
embark on the process of recovery alongside their loved ones and develop a
wellness mindset while designing a CarePath™.

The complexities of managing mental and physical health challenges are
addressed, and wellness tools are integrated for the whole family including
the children. Individuals and their families and/or identified supporters
learn that all mental health exists on a continuum and their overall health
and well‐being is not in isolation of each other.

The role play consists of the first meeting between the CarePath™ Coach and
Jessie‐ a 24‐year‐old man being discharged from a hospital stay, his mother
Jane and his partner John. The role‐play focuses on introducing the
CarePath™ program as an option for supporting Jessie during the transition
back home.

The role of the coach has been filled. There are three remaining roles to
fill:

1. Jessie (24 years of age),
2. John, his partner (24‐30 years of age), and
3. Jane, Jessie’s mother (45‐55 years of age)

The scenario will be recorded over remotely with everyone performing in
their homes. The scenario will be 30 minutes in length. The stipend is $200
for a couple of hours of work.
