We are pleased to announce auditions for 
LAST TRAIN TO NIBROC 
by Arlene Hutton 
directed by Sky Vogel 
Auditions will be held 
Sunday, February 23 at 1:00 pm and 
Tuesday, February 25 at 7:00 pm 
at the Ghent Playhouse, 6 Town Hall Road in Ghent, NY 
Set in 1940, LAST TRAIN TO NIBROC is a funny and touching portrait of the search for happiness. This simply staged romance tells the story of May and Raleigh, who meet on a cross-country train trip and soon discover they are from neighboring towns. Love blooms and complications abound, when Raleigh decides to follow his heart – and May – to Kentucky, rather than his plans to become a writer in New York. 
The play calls for two strong actors – one male and one female – who can portray characters from 20-30 years old. 
Younger individuals who can play older or older individuals who can play younger, are encouraged to audition. 
Those auditioning will be asked to read specific scenes from the script. 
The rehearsal schedule will be based on the availability of those chosen for the production. Those interested in auditioning are asked to be as specific as possible in listing any and all conflicts. 
Performance Dates: May 22-24, 29-31 and June 5-7 - Friday and Saturday evenings at 8:00, Sunday matinees at 2:00.
