Associate Director, Patrick Vassel! Patrick has worked on Hamilton since
the very beginning directly under Thomas Kail (Director). He will be
talking about his career and how he got the job! Plus hear some insider
stories about casting, rehearsal and production!

Patrick Vassel is a director and playwright from Akron, Ohio. He is
currently the Associate and Supervising Director of Hamilton. Broadway:

Opening Act, a non-profit providing free, after-school theater programs in
NYC high school. He is also a 2019 honoree of the St. Vincent - St. Mary
High School Rev. Mahar Outstanding Alumni Award and the 2020 Notre Dame
Alumni Association Fr. Lauck Award Winner for Achievement in the Arts.

As an educator, Patrick has a Masters of Science in Teaching from Pace
University and taught for five years at Explore Charter School in Flatbush,
Brooklyn. As a teaching artist with Opening Act and the Broadway Teaching
Group, Patrick has taught theater workshops to groups of all ages in all
five boroughs of New York City.
