The Mop & Bucket Co., resident improv company at the Mopco Improv Theatre in Schenectady is holding open auditions on August 31st from 7-9 PM. We seek skilled, experienced improvisers. We perform a wide variety of short and long form improv in our small black box theatre. We are looking to cast a diverse group of adult improvisers aged 18 and up. 

Membership in the company requires an ongoing commitment to attending rehearsals weekly on Tuesday evenings.  

Unfortunately, due to a sixteen month hiatus, shows are not currently paid. As we work back to normal times, we intend to reinstate the practice of paying small honoraria for each show. Regular Mop & Bucket Co. shows happen every Saturday night, although not all members perform in all shows; other performance opportunities (some actually paid) come up fairly often. 

Callbacks: Those who look like they might be a fit will be invited to play with the company in one or more rehearsals. 

Preparation: 
No monolog or scene required; it’s improv, right?
