Seeking actors of all ethnicities, age, and gender identity for training simulations.
This posting is for PAID work starting mid-September 2021 through March 2022.  This will be role playing specific to Child Welfare case worker training being trained by Youth Research Inc (YRI).  Trainees must complete in-person simulations after having taken the preparatory training virtually since 2020.  We anticipate that the trainings will be full days Monday-Friday and may be 1.5-2 days per session with up to 3 sessions per week, which is why we need 8 actors as the sessions overlap.

All roles are open to people of all ethnicities, age, and gender identity,  4 roles are needed, but we will need a total of 8 actors as two simulations will be going simultaneously:

  *   2 mothers (who can play 20s/30s)
  *   1 grandparent
  *   1 nine year old boy who will be played by an adult actor
There will be a day of training for the actors in early September and the 2 day pilot training the last week of September.  Weekly training will begin mid-October and could be up to 5 days/week.  We expect to continue through March 2022.

Reimbursement is a flat rate. No travel or meals will be reimbursed.  All trainings will be held at the Human Services Training Center (HSTC) in Rensselaer, NY
