Audition Announcement 

The School of the Performing Arts at heREP 

Summer Stage Young Acting Company 



Audition Dates: May 1 – 15, 2021

To Audition: 

Please visit https://school.proctors.org/acting-company-submissions/ to fill out the required audition application, and to upload audition video.



Please Prepare:

  1.  A short, 1-minute, fully memorized monologue of your choosing (remember to have fun with the character you are portraying while you are filming your audition).
  2.  Tips for recording: make sure the space you are performing in is neat and tidy; make sure you have a light shining on your face; make sure you speak loudly and clearly; and make sure you have fun!

  3.  If you play a musical instrument (not required) please include a 30second clip playing a song of your choosing.

  4.  If you sing (not required) please include a 16-32 bar section of a song of your choosing.   

Rehearsals & Master Classes: July 5-23, 2021; 9am-4pm, Mon-Fri. 

Performances: Friday July 23 at 7pm and July 24 at 2pm and 7pm

Tuition: $800 for three weeks. Scholarships available. 

 

SPECIFICALLY SEEKING:  

10-15 young actors/actresses to form the company that will perform the winning plays from theREP’s 2021 Young Playwright Contest. 



Students of diverse backgrounds are encouraged to audition. All roles are open.
