The class is a blend of: ballet. classical modern dance andtheater dance.
It is not recital school/competition school dance 

Wear stretchy clothing have hair pulled up and dance bear footor in socks;

There might be future performing opportunities.

Take a technique class and learn a bit about dance historyincluding that professional: ballet and modern dance and theater dance were notmeant for aristocracy but common people to tell their stories.

Dance is a vocabulary intended to: tell stories, conveyideas and emotions.

Professional: ballet, modern dance and theater dance are notmeant to be about floppy feet and effeminate style they are vocabulary.

And as such are still practiced in Europe and Russia.

The instructor has worked professionally in NYC, Wash. D.C.  SF Ca. and teaches across NY State
