[Capdist-auditions] Auditions for Radium Girls This Week

Join Glens Falls Community Theatre as we celebrate Womens History Month with auditions for Radium Girls. 

The story of the “shining” young women whose courage led to the establishment of OSHA and workers rights will be familiar to locals due to the film of the same name, that shot in Glens Falls and Lake George in 2016!

Auditions will be held by appointment on: 
Wednesday March 9th
Thursday March 10th
 at 219 Main Street in Hudson Falls, NY (Triads Music Center). Audition times are available from 6 pm until 9 pm on both evenings. Auditions will include sides from the show and are available on the GFCT website, https://www.gfcommunitytheatre.org. 

4 Performance dates are May 5th, 6th, 7th at 8th at the Charles R. Wood Theater in downtown Glens Falls.

Written with warmth and humor, Radium Girls is a fast-moving, highly theatrical ensemble piece for 9 to 10 actors, who play more than 30 parts—friends, co-workers, lovers, relatives, attorneys, scientists, consumer advocates, and myriad interested bystanders. Called a "powerful" and "engrossing" drama by critics, Radium Girls offers a wry, unflinching look at the peculiarly American obsessions with health, wealth, and the commercialization of science.
