Home Made Theater, Saratoga's resident theater company, opens their 23rd
season with Warren Leight's Tony Award winning play SIDE MAN, at the Spa
Little Theater in Saratoga State Park, on Friday, October 12th and running
weekends through October 28th. 

Winner of the 1999 Tony Award for Best Play, SIDE MAN is the story of a
young man, about to embark on a new life, looking back at his eccentric
childhood as the son of a jazz musician in this evocative memory play.  The
audience looks back along with Clifford at his parents and the colorful
group of jazz musician characters that share their life from the Golden Age
of jazz into the modern techno-pop era.  

SIDE MAN opens Friday, October 12th.  Performances are Fridays and
Saturdays, October 12, 13, 19, 20, 26 & 27 at 8:15pm, and Sundays October 21
& 28 at 2:00pm.  An optional dinner package is available with The Mouzon
House for an additional $25 per person plus tax and gratuity.  Ticket prices
are $22 and $19, with discounted tickets for students, seniors and groups of
20 or more.  SIDE MAN contains mature language.  The HMT box office opens
Monday, October 1st and will be open 11-5 weekdays with extended hours on
