[Capdist-announce] Highlight Acting Troupe presents Happily Forever After

The Highlight ActingTroupe will be presenting their children’s production of Happily Forever After written by Charlie Lovett on Friday andSaturday, October 2, 3, at 7:30 pm and Sunday, October 4 at 2:00 pm.  The show will be performed at the BrunswickGrange, Rt. 7 and 142.  Ticket prices are$12 for adults and $7 for students.  Theshow is directed by McKenzie LeVan assisted by Kathryn Capalbo..  Snow White, Cinderella,and Goldilocks all got their happy endings.  But happily-ever-after isn’tquite what the gals imagined it would be.  It’s just TOO happy with allthe helpfulness, charm, and generosity of their adoring princes!  While theyare busy planning ways to bring a bit more normalcy into their lives, anotherprincess is hoping to find her own happy ending.  Princess Wallflower isconsidering many suitors, but she only wants the handsomest of them all. When the vile, scheming Bad Bart kidnaps her, the princess is initiallyimpressed by his handsomeness and agrees to marry him.  So much for firstimpressions!  Once she realizes he’s bad (after all, it’s in his name),she begins to hope a handsome prince will come to her rescue.  Of course,all the princes in the kingdom are out searching for her, including the hubbiesof Snow White, Cinderella and Goldilocks.  This gives the ladies a chanceto get back to normal.  And what lucky suitor shall win the hand of thebeautiful Princess Wallflower?  In an ironic twist with a nice message toboot, it might just be Bernard the Beast.For reservations callEthel at 518-237-6936.  We ask that allticket be prepaid.
